A Running Celebration on Fort Bragg
As most people were just waking up Friday morning, others were lacing up their running shoes on Fort Bragg. Just as the sun was rising around 6:30 a.m., about 1000 runners dashed across the starting line to run the streets of “the home of the airborne” and compete in the 12th annual Fort Bragg Army Birthday 10-Miler on Longstreet Road celebrating the Army’s 233rd Birthday.

Fort Bragg youth celebrate Army's birthday in patriot spirit
Dressed in red, white and blue Friday were 160 youth at Fort Bragg’s Wonderful World of Kids to celebrate the Army’s 233rd birthday. The event at WWK was one of many activities that took place on post throughout the week leading up to the Army’s birthday Saturday.

Fort Bragg motorcycle mentorship program starts its engines
Each year hundreds of Soldiers become statistics in vehicular incidents throughout the United States and various other locations in the world. Even more dangerous are Soldiers who get into motorcycle accident where there is little to no chance of avoiding an injury, or worse, after a collision. Riding during bad weather and road conditions also play a role in these numbers.
