Soldiers engage in combatives training In a dark room filled with heat, sweat and floor mats, soldiers from all over Fort Bragg work hard as they practice combatives with their battle buddies. Combatives, which is broken down into four levels of training, provides a chance for soldiers to get the physical training that their MOS might not be able to offer them on a regular basis. 12.9.11 Story by Spc. Soldiers of LSA Bragg East eager to succeed in Connelly Competition At 4:30 in the morning most soldiers are not up yet, however for the soldiers of LSA Bragg East Dining Facility, the day is already well under way. While the soldiers work to complete the numerous tasks involved in getting the dining facility ready for the day, there is an excitement in the air, today is the Connelly Competition. Described as the “Super Bowl” of competitions for soldiers who work in dining facilities, LSA Bragg East is ready to beat the heat and become the best garrison dining facility in the Department of the Army. 11.21.11 Story by Spc. 82nd Sustainment Brigade holds organizational week “Provider Week” kicked off Nov. 15, with a brigade-wide run led by 82nd Sustainment Brigade commander Col. Chris Sharpsten.
