Garry Owen Battalion scores ‘goal’ in Amarah
 Scrambling for the ball, the two men collided, both focused on the mission at hand, Oct. 23, 2008. The man in red, a member of the 3rd Battalion, 38th Brigade, 10th Iraqi Army Division, came to his feet first and dashed toward the soccer ball, while his blue clad opponent, a member of the Abu Rummanah District All-Stars, could do nothing but watch.

Multi-National Division—Baghdad commanding general discusses successes in Baghdad/Lauds Iraqi Security Forces professionalism, patriotism of SOIs
 The commanding general of Multi-National Division—Baghdad and 4th Infantry Division, Maj. Gen. Jeffery Hammond, a Hattiesburg, Miss., native, hosted a slew of western media members at Freedom Rest in the International Zone, Sept. 26, 2008, during a midday luncheon to discuss the current atmosphere in the Baghdad area and answer any questions they had.

Cobras give gift of life to deployed Soldiers
FORT HOOD, TX – Soldiers lined up inside 704th Brigade Support Battalion’s motor pool Feb. 7 for the chance to donate blood and help their fellow battle buddies that are currently deployed to Iraq.
