Broncos replace Screaming Eagles in Iraq
 The 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), transferred the mission of assisting Iraqis in Salah ad Din province with security, governance, economics and essential services to the 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, in a transfer of authority ceremony.

Hawaii’s 2-6 Cavalry is best Army aviation unit
KIRKUK, Iraq – The Department of the Army recognized the 2nd Squadron, 6th U.S. Cavalry Regiment, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, as the best Army aviation unit during an award ceremony at Forward Operating Base Warrior, Kirkuk, Iraq, July 10.

Turkish Government sends assistance to Kirkuk
Members of the Turkish air force flew into Forward Operating Base Warrior July 8 to transport 24 car bomb victims to Turkey, assisting with medical treatment and helping to free up space in the Kirkuk General Hospital.
