News StoriesTask Force Dragon takes command After nearly three months of mobilization training and thousands of miles of travel, the Ohio- and Michigan-based 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team has officially begun their mission of partnering with and providing Security Force Assistance Teams to the Afghan Border and Uniform Police, as well as the Afghan National Civil Order Police. 02.1.12 Story by Maj. Anthony Chenault

Tactical Explosive Detection Dog teams consist of a trained dog and a validated handler. 11.8.11 Story by Sgt. Kimberly Lamb
Brigade deploys newest asset Unmanned aerial systems, formerly unmanned aerial vehicles, are machines which function by remote control or autonomously based on pre-programmed flight plans. 11.6.11 Story by Sgt. Kimberly Lamb

One unique event is approaching two Ohio National Guard soldiers bringing them another bond and memories that only the other will understand. 11.2.11 Story by Sgt. Kimberly Lamb
Gunning for her job Through the darkness, she notices movement. Her small framed body pushes the heavy gun turret, rotating slowly. She sees the silhouettes, carefully takes aim and fires her M240B machine gun. 10.22.11 Story by Sgt. Kimberly Lamb
