Task Force Dragon takes command
After nearly three months of mobilization training and thousands of miles of travel, the Ohio- and Michigan-based 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team has officially begun their mission of partnering with and providing Security Force Assistance Teams to the Afghan Border and Uniform Police, as well as the Afghan National Civil Order Police.


Running With the Big DogsRunning With the Big Dogs
Like the Battle Buddy system used by the Army, these teams of two work hard, train hard, and look out for each other. Both soldiers are disciplined, well groomed, and physically fit for duty. Both follow commands explicitly. Unlike traditional Battle Buddies, this team has six legs instead of four. Tactical Explosive Detection Dog teams consist of a trained dog and a validated handler.
