The Secretary of the Army visits the Polar Bear Battalion
The Honorable John McHugh paid a visit to the 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment. Mr. McHugh was given a tour of the battalion headquarters by commander Lt. Col. Robert Ryan and CSM Benny Dobbs. Mr. McHugh shared a drink from the ceremonial punch bowl and presented coins to Soldiers being recognized by the battalion.

1. Police officers of the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Brigade Iraqi Federal Police teach other Iraqi policemen, as well as soldiers in the 45th Iraqi Army Brigade, at the Task Force Nissar Training Academy. The academy used to be taught by U.S. forces, but the Iraqi police now run the school and teach all the classes.
