Soldiers increase training intensity on weapons range
Six units that fall under the Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 362nd Quartermaster Battalion, from Kinston, N.C., met at Marine base Camp Lejeune, Nov. 2-4 for an innovative training exercise.

45th Sustainment Brigade Soldiers open hearts, adopt local community
Soldiers from the 352nd Corps Support Battalion delivered toys and school supplies to a Christian village during a humanitarian mission Dec.18 here. The 352nd, a battalion assigned to the 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), visited Pishabur, a small village near the Syrian border and passed out gifts to children.

Communicating on a battlefield has become much easier over the years. With Internet and telephone access, gone are the days of the Pony Express. Still, Soldiers are working hard to make connections faster and more secure for the troops.
