For the Soldiers of 259th Quarry Platoon, of the 253rd Engineer Battalion, Arizona National Guard, getting dirty is a way of life whether deployed overseas or here at the National Training Center.

Engineers Help Build and Repair Q Huts during Operation Sand Castle 2009
Drills drilled, saws sawed and hammers hammered here recently as more than 40 Army Reserve Soldiers sharpened their engineering skills by constructing metal buildings at Forward Operating Base (FOB) Miami, deep in the heart of the National Training Center here.
