Recertification complete for more combat flexibility

Soldiers of 1st Brigade Combat Team's 3rd Battalion, 6th Field Artillery Regiment were tearing up the terrain on Fort Drum Nov. 2 – 6 as they conducted recertification qualification with their M-119A2 towed howitzers.

Guard truckers support 10th Mountain Division

Truck drivers from the Virginia Army National Guard took to the open road recently and conducted a mission that not only helps them train for possible deployment to South West Asia, but also supports one of the Army's most deployable combat units – the 10th Mountain Division.

Reunion highlights CF reconciliation efforts during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan in Kirkuk, Iraq

In the spirit of reconciliation and during the observance of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, Sheik Abdullah Sami Al Asi Obeydi, a Kirkuk Sunni Arab Provincial Council member and tribal leader, has been reunited with his cousin Shakn Abdullah Mushed Al-Rahma Obeydi after a ten-month separation, Sept. 27, 2008, at Forward Operating Base Warrior in Kirkuk, Iraq.
