Qayyarah citizens clean up their streets with the help of U.S. forces Citizens of the Al Hawd and Ijimissa villages in the district of Qayyarah began a month-long cleanup effort the week of Sept. 13 to reduce the trash that had been accumulating in the city streets. They received help from the Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division. (09/19/09)
