Normandy: One Soldier's unexpected home away from home
In the few days that I have been in this town I have continuously heard about the great respect and friendship between the French citizens here and American servicemembers, and in my ventures into town I have felt a great deal of camaraderie. But I believe it was not until last night that I was able to truly experience the bond that exists between the American military and the people of Normandy.

Values bind service members together across span of time
As I walked through the American cemetery at Omaha Beach at Normandy, France, I found it difficult to wrap my mind around a battle so large and so brutal. I imagine, as thousands of Soldiers poured onto these beaches 65 years ago, the magnitude of the conflict must have been overwhelming to them as well.

Soldiers prep to support D-Day ceremonies for 65th anniversary of invasion
When the time comes Saturday, to honor the servicemen who fought and died supporting the D-Day invasion of Normandy 65 years ago, thousands are expected to flock to the shores of Utah Beach and Omaha Beach to pay homage to the bravery and sacrifice of these heroes.

Vigilant brigade concludes 15-month deployment
Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldiers gathered on Dec. 1 at the 18th Military Police Brigade Headquarters on Camp Liberty to witness the transferring of authority of the Baghdad Police Transition Team mission to the 8th Military Police Brigade.

Soldiers share name tags/Married couple exchanges wedding vows in Iraq
As the Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldiers of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 18th Military Police Brigade, serve in the final weeks of their 15-month deployment, they took time to gather together just before sundown, Nov. 10, 2008, for a rather unique ceremony that would be the first of its kind in the unit's history.
