In October 2005, Company B of the Ohio-based 612th Engineer Battalion lost one of their own. Twenty-year old Sgt. Jeremy Hodge, from Rushylvania, Ohio, was killed in action when an improvised explosive device detonated near his humvee during a route clearance mission.

 Joint Reconstruction Operations Center reaches end of mission
The Joint Reconstruction Operations Center was officially deactivated April 27 at its headquarters in Baghdad's International Zone. The ceremony, a celebration of sorts, was filled with excitement and pride for their accomplishments and contributions to Baghdad's reconstruction over the past four years.

JROC works to restore Karkh Waste Water Treatment Plant
