News Stories Theater Field Confinement gets new commander
The Theater Field Confinement conduct a change of command here Jan. 31. Cmdr. Vincent F. Costantini, the outgoing Theater Field Confinement Facility commander and Trenton, N.J., native, assumed command January 2011 and will report to the 5th Naval Expeditionary Logistics Regiment in California.

 Camp Arifjan tax center opens
Area Support Group-Kuwait sponsored the opening of the ASG-K Tax Center in the legal assistance office Jan. 30. “Even when we are deployed we have an obligation to file taxes, and this office is designed to facilitate that,” said Col. Robert Cheatham, ASG–K commander and Springfield, Va. native.

Third Army/ARCENT hosted a live performance by Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band here Jan. 28. During the concert, the Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning actor and his band entertained thousands of service members, contractors, and DoD civilians as they covered classic hits from Stevie Wonder and Jimi Hendrix, to contemporary tunes by Adele, the Zac Brown Band, and many more
