News Stories Color Casing Ceremony marks end of tour for 130th Eng. Bde.
The 130th Engineer Brigade, from Schofeild Barracks, Hawaii, cased their colors in a ceremony, May 29, on Contingency Operating Site Marez. The ceremony signified the end of the 130th Eng. Bde.'s, tour of duty in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

In honor of Women's History Month, the 130th Engineer Brigade hosted a strongest woman competition, March 27, in the Headquarters Company's Multi-Purpose Room, and a women's history ceremony in the Community Activity Center on COS Marez, March 29.

 Soldiers use retreat for self improvement and relaxation
Soldiers in the 1st Engineer Battalion, 779th Engineer Battalion and the Headquarters Company of the 130th Engineer Brigade, traveled from Contingency Operating Site Marez, Iraq, to Contingency Operating Base Speicher's Freedom Rest Center March 18, for a four-day married and singles retreat. The retreat was led by 130th Eng. Bde. Lt. Col. John Molina, chaplain, 779th Eng. Bn. Capt. Jeff Peppers, chaplain, and 1st Eng. Bn. Capt. Jason Hill, chaplain.
