Criminal charges under the Uniform Code of Military Justice were preferred, July 5, against Pfc. Bradley E. Manning, 22, of 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, at Contingency Operating Station Hammer, Iraq.
The headquarters of 1st Armored Division will take control of all U.S. forces operating in central Iraq from 1st Cavalry Division during a formal ceremony held at U.S. Division-Center headquarters Jan. 13.
