[2] Ohio National Guard OMLT Part 1
B-Roll of 30 Soldiers from the Ohio Army National Guard's, Operational Mentor and Liaison Team 9.1 (OMLT), 174th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, along with members of the Hungarian Defense Force participate in a closing ceremony in Tata, Hungary. The OMLTs' mission was to provide training and mentoring to the ANA forces. The unit began their initial training period in Hungary and Germany and then deployed to Afghanistan. The unit mobilized in December 2008 and is the first of four OMLT's to return home. The OMLT program is a key NATO contribution towards the development of the Afghan National Army (ANA). The unit will be welcomed home to Ohio at 3 p.m., Tue. Aug. 25 at the Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, 1636 Graham Rd, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068.
