LeDoux to appear at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

JOINT BASE ANACOSTIA-BOLLING, D.C. - Carmel, Indiana’s own Craig LeDoux is slated to perform for more than 53 million estimated spectators as part of the United States Air Force Band’s appearance at the 86th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Nov. 22 in New York City.

LeDoux joined the United States Air Force Band in 1990 as trombonist after studying trombone performance at Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.

“The United States Air Force Band strives to Honor those who have served and those who still serve today. We Inspire Americans to a heightened sense of patriotism and inspire our deployed service men and women serving overseas,” said LeDoux. “We strive to impact audiences here at home and abroad demonstrating Air Force excellence through the universal language of music. As the Chief Enlisted Manager of The United States Air Force Band, I am honored to serve with some of the very best musicians this country has to offer and to represent all who wear the uniform on this Thanksgiving Day.”

The parade begins at 9 a.m. East Coast time, and will be broadcast on many television stations.
