FORT HOOD, Texas - Fort Hood officials have released the name of a soldier who died Feb. 15 at Saint David Hospital in Round Rock, Texas, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Florence, Texas, Feb. 4.
Spc. Keandre Mosha Hall, 24, whose home of record is listed as Naperville, Ill., entered active-duty service in September 2009 as a wheeled vehicle mechanic. He arrived at Fort Hood in February 2010 and was assigned to 3rd Cavalry Regiment. His last assignment here was with Maintenance Troop, Regimental Support Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment since January 2012.
Hall deployed in support of Operation New Dawn from August 2010 to August 2011.
Hall's awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with campaign service star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon and Driver and Mechanic Badge.
