Parwan Province, Afghanistan. – Lt. Col. John Wojick has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, Jan. 15, for outstanding leadership in the Michigan Army National Guard and the community.
Through his tireless efforts, teamwork and volunteer mentality, Wojick was able to establish and execute the highest level of legal operations of the command and the Department of the Military Veterans Affairs. As adjunct professor, lecturer and guest speaker and numerous events, courses and symposia, he promoted the ideals of the Michigan Army National Guard and embodied the Army values to the public.
