Annual Education, Incentives and Employment Workshop Kicks off in Orlando, Fla., August 2-6, 2010

The theme for the 2010 workshop is “Transform, Innovate, Lead.” Representatives from the Veterans Administration, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support, Army National Guard, and U.S. Army Human Resources Command are scheduled to attend and discuss how the Army National Guard is meeting the tenets of this year’s theme.

Experts will cover the following topics and more:

*Post 9-11 GI Bill
*Federal Tuition Assistance
*National Guard Patriot Academy High School
*GED Plus Program
*National Guard Math & Science Mobile Learning Center

Medal of Honor Recipient, Honorable Ron Ray of Tampa, Fla., will headline the workshop along with soldiers who have professionally and personally benefited from the National Guard Patriot Academy High School, GED Plus Program and the Job Connection Education Program.
