FORT DEVENS, Mass. — Chief Warrant Officer 5 Scott B. Hagar, Chief Warrant Officer of the Adjutant General's Corps based at the Soldier Support Institute in Fort Jackson, S.C., visited Silver Scimitar 2010 March 23.
Hagar, a native of Irving, Texas, reviewed the individual areas of training being conducted in the exercise to observe how the training was tying together.
It is important that Soldiers who have already deployed have the opportunity to share their knowledge with those who are about to head overseas, said Hagar.
"We want to fine-tune tactics, techniques and procedures and synchronize their battle rhythms as they get ready to go into the fight," Hagar added.
Silver Scimitar is a U.S. Army Reserve Command level multi-component human resources training exercise designed to prepare units to conduct HR missions in the Central Command theater of operations.
"Silver Scimitar is the premiere HR training event," said Hagar.
