CAMP GRAYLING, Mich. - The Bryant brothers grew up playing with toy soldiers in the sand box in the back yard. Each brother commanded a group of plastic infantrymen. Growing up, these brothers did everything together from playing in those sand boxes as kids, to commanding and controlling units as grown men.
First Lieutenant Jeremiah Bryant is a Soldier assigned to Headquarters, 1st Battalion, 125th Infantry, Michigan Army National Guard, and joined the Army National Guard in 2005 with Capt. Isaiah Bryant.
Capt. Isaiah Bryant recently transferred to the 126th Press Camp Headquarters as a public affairs officer, and is covering a wide range of media and journalist events during Operation Northern Strike at Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center, Grayling, Michigan. “I am blessed with the opportunity to be apart of a prestigious unit to get the story out. I finally get to practice what I went to school for.”
Today, the Bryant brothers-in-arms crossed paths during ONS. Jeremiah is the officer in charge at Range 44 and is overseeing battalion-level movements to contact drills during ONS. While serving as the plans officer he mentioned, “I enjoy being involved in the overall scheme of things because to see a plan execute with no incidences, makes me Hooah!”
In addition, there is another brother, 1st Lt. Kervin Bryant, assigned to Bravo Battery, 1st Battalion, 182nd Field Artillery, MIARNG. All three brothers attended the same Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Reserve Officer Training Corps at Eastern Michigan University.
