Fort Hood honors soldiers at retirement ceremony

FORT HOOD, Texas - Seventeen soldiers and two civilians will be honored at a formal retirement ceremony 10 a.m., Nov. 19, at III Corps Headquarters building, here.

The senior retiree at the ceremony is Maj. Timothy E. Forsting, III Corps, Fort Hood. He will retire after 32 years of service.

Others being honored include:

Maj. Steven L. Moon, 418th Contracting Brigade. He will retire after 23 years of service.

Chief Warrant Officer 4, Brian S. Gerbozy, 15th Military Intelligence Battalion, Fort Hood. He will retire after 24 years of service.

Command Sgt. Maj. Jeffery A. Hoff, III Corps, Fort Hood. He will retire after 31 years of service.

First Sgt. Joseph L. Finney, Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood. He will retire after 23 years of service.

Master Sgt. Chad J. Johnson, 41st Fires Brigade, Fort Hood. He will retire after 20 years of service.

Sgt. 1st Class Michael G. Bywater, 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), Fort Hood. He will retire after 25 years of service.

Sgt. 1st Class Tychicus Best, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, Fort Hood. He will retire after 25 years of service.

Sgt. 1st Class Michael E. Shoe, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, Fort Hood. He will retire after 20 years of service.

Sgt. 1st Class Felicia A. Scott, III Corps, Fort Hood. She will retire after 20 years of service.

Sgt. 1st Class Vincent J. Sandoval, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, Fort Hood. He will retire after 20 years of service.

Sgt. 1st Class Larry E. Choyce, Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood. He will retire after 17 years of service.

Sgt. 1st Class James W. Brown, 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), Fort Hood. He will retire after 22 years of service.

Sgt. 1st Class Troy R. Harlow, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas. He will retire after 23 years of service.

Sgt. 1st Class Craig A. Davis, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood. He will retire after 23 years of service.

Staff Sgt. Dianna L. Royal, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood. She will retire after 20 years of service.

Staff Sgt. Kentonia D. White, First Army Division West, Fort Hood. She will retire after 20 years of service.

Marca H Ross Sr., United States Army Garrison, Fort Hood. He will retire after 35 years of federal service.

Mildred A. Ross, Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, Texas. She will retire after 27 years of service.
