FORT HOOD, Texas – The 3rd Cavalry Regiment will celebrate 167 years of unit history during the annual “Brave Rifles Birthday Week” scheduled for May 13–19 on Fort Hood.
The weeklong event features team sports competitions between representatives from each squadron and will culminate with the 2nd Annual Brave Rifles 5k / 10k Run in Salado, Texas. The event this year will also reunite past and present members of the Regiment who served in 3CR during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
