USACE Little Rock launches water level app

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District recently launched a mobile App for fisherman, navigators, paddlers and park visitors. The App delivers current water conditions for Corps' reservoirs, rivers and streams within the district boundaries to include the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System.

To find the first of its kind free App from the Corps you can click here or search “USACE Little Rock” in the Google Play or iTunes App Store.

The app was designed from user comments through social media polls. It easily displays lake forecasts, lake levels, turbine releases, and forecast for the Arkansas River needed to enjoy a day of fishing, boating, navigation and recreation in the district.

The towing industry, anglers, boaters and paddlers now have the latest stage and flow rates for their favorite rivers and creeks on their smartphone or tablet.

The app also features Southwestern Power Administrations projected daily generation schedules for district reservoirs and U.S. Geological Surveys stream flows for Arkansas and Missouri.
