KABUL, Afghanistan – An International Security Assistance Force service member died following an improvised explosive device attack in southern Afghanistan today.

It is ISAF policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities.

Faizi had an interest in being part of Afghanistan’s elite Special Forces team ,since some of his family members and friends died defending this country.
  • At the senior enlisted conference, held here March 12, a senior coalition forces noncommissioned officer suggested that the Calendar Year 2013, which is Solar Year 1392, be referred to as “The Year Of  The Command Team” in Afghanistan.
