    Ribbon Cutting to be held for Army Reserve Center in Willow Grove

    HORSHAM, Pa. — The Army Reserve’s 99th Regional Support Command is scheduled to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the Willow Grove Army Reserve Center, July 7.

    Who: Scheduled to speak at the event are:
    - Maj. Gen. William D. Razz Waff, commanding general, 99th RSC
    - Mr. Doug Webb, constituent services representative for U.S. Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz
    - Maj. Gen. Wesley Craig, the adjutant general, Pennsylvania National Guard

    When: Saturday, July 7 at 2:30 p.m. All media will need to arrive at approximately 2:15 p.m. for media brief and escort

    Where: 1300 Privet Road, Horsham, Pa., 19044

    Background: The 99th RSC is officially opening a brand-new, state-of-the-art Army Reserve Center in Willow Grove. This complex features a training facility with approximately 73,000 square feet, organizational maintenance shop with approximately 16,500 square feet, and unheated storage building with approximately 5,500 square feet. Total project of $16.5 million was awarded to Clayco, Inc., of Lowell, Mass. Project was completed in June 2011.

    This complex is scheduled to be home to approximately 715 soldiers from various units under the Army Reserve’s Legal Command, 316th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, 412th Engineer Command, 200th Military Police Command, 3rd Medical Command and 11th Aviation Command

    The 99th RSC acts as a “virtual installation” that provides world-class base operations support to over 51,000 Army Reserve soldiers, 400 units and 300 facilities for the entire Northeast Region from Maine to Virginia for the Army Reserve in order to give our warrior-citizens and their Families the finest care, support, services and training.
