News: ISAF schedules press conference

KABUL, Afghanistan – Kabul-based media representatives are invited to attend an ISAF press conference on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012 at 10 a.m. This week Dominic Medley, NATO Senior Civilian representative spokesman, will provide an update on NATO developments, followed by an operational update from Brig. Gen. Carsten Jacobson, ISAF spokesman.
The presentations will be followed by a question and answer session.
Media interested in attending should respond, by phone or email, no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, 2012.
NOTE: Media need to arrive at the gate at 9 a.m. to have equipment checked, badges issued, and be escorted to the press conference site. At 9:40 we will close gate access to allow the press conference to begin on time. Responding to ISAF’s invitation will speed entry through the gate procedures.
As a reminder you will be asked to secure your mobile phones while on the ISAF Compound.
