News: 389th Engineer Company to return home from Iraq

FORT DIX, New Jersey - Soldiers from the 389th Engineer Company out of Middletown, Iowa, return home from their eight-month deployment to Iraq.
The 389th is a Vertical Construction Company, which deployed in April in support of Operation New Dawn.
In April 2011, the 389th Engineer Company deployed to Iraq. They conducted vertical construction missions over a 164,000 square mile radius.
The 389th ENG Co is comprised of approximately 85 soldiers from around the state of Iowa and the Midwest.
The location of the event will be at Southeast Iowa Airport in Burlington, around 11 on Dec. 21, 2011.
