KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- Army Maj. Gen. William E. Rapp, the 72nd Commandant of the Corps of Cadets, United States Military Academy, visited Kandahar Airfield, Oct. 11, 2011, in preparation for his upcoming appointment to deputy commander – support, U.S. Forces – Afghanistan.
Commodore Bret J. Muilenburg, commanding officer of 30th Naval Construction Regiment (Forward), hosted Rapp as he honored multiple sailors for their noteworthy accomplishments in support of the Task Force Forager mission.
Rapp is scheduled to assume duties as deputy commander – support, USFOR-A, in the coming weeks.
