SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Air Mobility Command Public Affairs launched a Web page aimed at spotlighting the command's energy conservation efforts, April 22.
The page features the latest news and features from AMC personnel and bases on energy efficiency, fuel efficiency and other efforts.
"Through a myriad of efforts, Air Mobility Command is doing its part to save the Air Force millions of dollars in energy costs," the Web page states. "This includes areas such as energy efficiency, fuel efficiency, and more.
"In keeping with the 2011 Air Force energy awareness theme, 'A New Culture: Energy as an Operations Enabler,' Air Mobility Command is doing all it can to support the Air Force's overall mission to 'Fly, Fight and Win,' and at the same time support the service's energy strategy to 'Reduce Demand, Increase Supply, and Change our Culture.'
