    ISAF Troops Partner with ANP to Provide Security in Pul-e Khumri

    PUL-E KHUMRI, Afghanistan – Soldiers from the U.S. Army A Company, 2nd Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 170th Infantry Brigade Combat Team visited an Afghan National Police checkpoint in an effort to build further cooperation, March 18.

    The visit to the checkpoint came during a routine patrol between Pul-e Khumri and Dahaneh-i Ghowri. During the visit, ISAF troops ensured basic resources were available for the ANP to continue their security watch as well as coordinated future security initiatives for the area.

    ISAF troops in the Baghlan region partner with ANP and other Afghan National Security Forces in order to support ongoing security efforts by the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
