    Afghan, French forces conduct operations in Tag Ab

    KAPISA PROVINCE, Afghanistan – Afghan security forces and French Task Force La Fayette battle group Allobroges conducted a combined operation in Tag Ab Valley to estimate the security level and meet the people there Dec. 18 and 19.

    More than 330 soldiers and 40 policemen were deployed during this two-day operation. In addition to meeting the local people and discussing the security situation, the operation also provided an opportunity to discuss development projects.

    The operation also helped show the population how the Afghan security forces are involved in their security and determined to stay in this area.

    At the end of the operation, a Tag Ab malek came to the French Forward Operating Base Kutschbach to detail the development projects there.
