CONTINGENCY OPERATING BASE SPEICHER, Iraq – Spc. Tremayne Bunkley, a movement specialist for the 840th Transportation Battalion, is currently on deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom at Contingency Operating Base Speicher, Iraq.

Bunkley, an Orlando, Fla., native, ensures equipment of redeploying units is properly shipped. On this deployment, Bunkley hopes to earn a promotion and take part in on-line college courses.

He is the son of Teresa Evans of Orlando, Fla. Bunkley is a full-time student at Valencia Community College, Orlando, Fla., earning a general studies degree. He says the best thing about this deployment is that he gets the opportunity to be part of the responsible drawdown of forces.
