NEW ORLEANS — The Coast Guard medevaced a man with a severe injury to his face off a fishing vessel 10 miles south of Houma, La. in the Gulf of Mexico, Feb. 5.

Coast Guard Sector New Orleans received a report from the master of the fishing vessel Bao Hung that a crew member had received a severe injury to the face from a pipe and requested a medevac for the injured man.
