KABUL, Afghanistan -- Six congressional delegates from different states visited service members at Camp Eggers Sept. 6, 2008, during a tour of bases in central and southern Afghanistan.

Representatives Ellen Tauscher, D-Calif., Thomas Petri, R-Wis., Jon Porter, R-Nev., David Reichert, R-Wash., Jim Cooper, D-Tenn., and Nancy Boyda, D-Kan., shared breakfast with service members from their respective states.

The representatives spoke to the troops about political and military issues relating to the mission here and stateside.
