SOUTHCOM commander celebrates Thanksgiving with JTF-Bravo

Joint Task Force Bravo

SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras - Gen. John Kelly, commander, U.S. Southern Command, visited troops at Joint Task Force-Bravo for Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, 2014. Along with him were his wife, Karen Kelly, SOUTHCOM's senior enlisted leader, Command Sgt. Maj. William Zaiser, his wife, Jean Zaiser, and SOUTHCOM's deputy command chaplain, Lt. Col. Charles Towery.

Kelly awarded five service members with the Army Commendation Medal for going above and beyond in their achievements during their tour here at Soto Cano Air Base. Following the ceremony, Kelly addressed the members of the Task Force and thanked them for their hard work and dedication to their duty.

Kelly was then taken on a tour of Soto Cano Air Base, where he was shown the new barracks and its improvement on quality of life that service members would enjoy during their tour here.

Lastly, Kelly served and ate food with JTF-Bravo service members prior to his departure.
