WASHINGTON - Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) received a limited number of tickets for the “Concert for Valor,” which is scheduled to be held Nov. 11 on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
Although the event is free to attend, the tickets provide access to the area near the stage. The tickets will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis through the JBAB Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR).
They are available at both the Information, Tickets & Travel (ITT) Office, which is located at 4570 Chappie James Blvd. (inside the commissary), and the Liberty Center, located in Enterprise Hall, Bldg. 72. A limited number of parking passes are also available. For more information please call ITT, 202-404-6576. All government I.D. card holders are eligible to receive tickets.
The “Concert for Valor” is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., Nov. 11 and it will feature: Bruce Springsteen, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, Metallica, Eminem, and other artists and celebrity guests. Nearly 800,000 people are expected to attend the free event.
The stage will be located on the west side of the Capitol, near Fourth Street NW, between Madison and Jefferson drives NW.
