FORT HOOD, Texas - The Fort Hood Directorate of Emergency Services and military police responded at approximately noon to a report of a suspicious incident of shots being fired in the vicinity of the Soldier Development Center, building 33009.
After a thorough investigation of the area where the alleged shots were fired, no evidence that the event occurred was found. The area was declared safe and Fort Hood has returned to normal operations. The investigation continues.
