FORT HOOD, Texas – Media are invited to attend the 1st Cavalry Division's welcome home ceremony Friday morning, Oct. 17 at 12:45 a.m. (45 minutes after midnight) on Cooper Field here.
Roughly 80 Soldiers from the Division Headquarters, including the division command team Maj. Gen. Michael Bills and Command Sgt. Maj. Andrew Barteky, will return home from their deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
