    JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. -The Army Reserve’s 377th Theater Sustainment Command has partnered with Marine Air Craft Group 49 to provide helicopter airlift operations July 31 to one company that has maintained exceptional performance during the first iteration of Operation Sustainment Warrior training event at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, July 20 through August 3, 2014.

    Background: The Army Reserve’s 377th Theater Sustainment Command has partnered with Marine Air Craft Group 49 to provide helicopter airlift operations July 31 to one company that has maintained exceptional performance during the first iteration of Operation Sustainment Warrior training event at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, July 20 through August 3, 2014.

    One top-performing company of Soldiers will have the opportunity to participate in airlift operations onboard two CH-53E “Super Stallion” helicopters enroute to convoy lanes training.

    The 655th Regional Support Group, a subordinate unit of the Army Reserve’s 377th Theater Sustainment Command, has coordinated this event as an effort to incentivize Soldiers during OSW, the 377th TSC’s premiere training event.

    Operation Sustainment Warrior provides rigorous and relevant individual training designed to improve the readiness and retention of Army Reserve Soldiers. Soldiers who participate in OSW become proficient in warrior tasks, complete medical-readiness updates and sharpen leadership skills.
