Spartan commander trains with Hoplites Sgt. Richard Wrigley

FORT STEWART, Ga. - Col. Scott Jackson, commander of the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team "Spartans," joined the Headquarters and Headquarters Company “Hoplites," as they conducted warrior skills testing stations during Sergeants Time battle-focused physical training here at Pond 10, Jan. 24.

The company split into teams and each team carried a litter weighing 100 pounds throughout the entire event, which started with a run out to the pond. The teams then conducted warrior tasks at three stations around the pond and had their knowledge of Army regulations and policies tested at the fourth station.

The teams regrouped as a company after finishing the event and conducted a run back to the company area to promote esprit de corps.
