    WASHINGTON - Rep. Jim Renacci (OH-16) will present several Medals of Honor, including the Silver Star and the Purple Heart, to the family of Sgt. Dominic “Dom” Erinato, a courageous WWII and Korean War veteran who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, during a ceremony on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. in Wadsworth, Ohio. Sgt. Eritano was a member of Company B, 1st Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division and served during the Second World War and in the South Pacific for three years. On June 24, 1951, he was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea and was presumed dead on Dec. 31, 1953. In addition to the Silver Star and the Purple Heart, Sgt. Erinato earned the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal, CIB, Philippine Liberation Medal, Honorable Service Lapel Button, and Sharpshooter Badge with Carbine Bar for his brave service to our great nation, all of which will be presented to his family during the ceremony.
