News: CRDAMC announces its first baby of 2014

FORT HOOD, Texas - Spc. Justin and Sabrina Newman, of 89th MP Brigade, are the proud parents of the first baby born at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Jan. 1, 2014.

The infant, a boy, was born at 12:16 a.m., weighs seven pounds, nine ounces and is 19 3/4 inches long.

Media representatives interested in interviewing the family should meet at the Visitor's Center, Fort Hood Main Gate, at 3 p.m., Jan. 1.
