MCGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. - Three airmen were recently selected as the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center's outstanding Senior Noncommissioned Officer, NCO and Airman of the Calendar Year 2013, Second Quarter.

The winners were announced June 20 in an email by TEC Commander, U.S. Air National Guard Col. Tim Cathcart.

"Please join me in congratulating these outstanding airmen!" wrote Cathcart in an email announcement. "Thanks for all you do."

All Airmen work for the Paul H. Lankford Enlisted Professional Military Education Center at the TEC.

"All three of these Lankford individuals are outstanding," said Chief Master Sgt. Donald E. Felch, Lankford EPME Center commandant.

SNCO of the Quarter is Master Sgt. Veronica Ross, Lankford EMPE Center's director of education assigned from the active Air Force.

Felch said "Ross personifies senior leadership every day."

Stepping into her challenging roll for the largest EPME center in the U.S. Air Force, Felch said Ross "made the monumental task seem effortless."

"We will miss her firm and decisive style of leadership when she departs later this year," said Felch.

Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter is Tech. Sgt. Kasimu Greenidge, an EPME instructor.

Felch said Greenidge is "a gifted educator with experience both in the flight room and on camera with the Lankford EPME Center's own Satellite EPME programs."

"He continues to grow our total-force Airmen in a blended learning environment," said Felch.

Airman of the Quarter is Senior Airman Aaron Rush, who serves in Lankford Center's Student Operations.

Rush was assigned to the TEC a few months ago and "hit the ground running," said Felch.

"Our student operations section is the busiest in the Air Force, yet he has settled into the battle rhythm like a pro," said Felch. "We are looking for great things out of this enterprising, young airman."
