WHAT: U.S. Marine Corps Forces South change of command ceremony.
WHO: Brigadier General David W. Coffman will assume command from Brigadier General W. Blake Crowe. General John F. Kelly, Commander, U.S. Southern Command, will preside over the ceremony.
WHEN: PRESS IS ASKED TO ARRIVE BY 9:30 A.M. to allow for credentialing, parking and setup. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. sharp.
WHERE: Gate 2, U.S. Southern Command headquarters, 9301 NW 33rd St., Doral, Fla. 33172 (east of the intersection of NW 97th Ave and NW 33rd St).
IMPORTANT NOTE TO NEWS DESKS: Media interested in covering this ceremony should contact the Public Affairs Office with the names of reporters and/or photographers no later than 4:00 p.m. Thursday. Press credentialing will be required for access to the event and press badges will be issued for display.
