FT. POLK, La. - The Financial Readiness Program falls under the Army Community Service (ACS) umbrella of support programs. The program’s purpose is to help commanders keep their soldiers financially educated about their money. And, it is one of many organizations that will be at the 4th Brigade, 10 Mountain Division’s Deployment Fair on May 21 at the ACS Building, Building 920, from 9a.m. to 5:30p.m.
The Financial Readiness Program offers free classes to soldiers and their families. Some of the classes offered are Car Buying Strategies, Credit Management, Raising Financially Fit Kids, amongst many others.
“We offer several kinds of financial classes every month. We also encourage the commanders to talk to their soldiers about our classes if the commander knows that their soldier is in financial trouble,” said Edwin Morales Aviles, Financial Readiness Program Manager at the ACS.
Come to the Deployment Fair on Tuesday to speak with a representative from the Financial Readiness Program and lean how this program and many others can help support our families.
