News: Media advisory: Army EW chief to speak at IDGA Electronic Warfare Summit

Who: Army Electronic Warfare Division Chief, Col. Charles "Jim" Ekvall will speak at the Institute for Defense and Government Advancement Electronic Warfare Summit in Alexandria, Va.

What: Ekvall will update the attendees on the latest developments within the HQDA EW division such as the progress of the Integrated Electronic Warfare System. Interoperability with the other services and agencies will be included as well as new initiatives within the Army EW community.

Electronic Warfare became an Army core competency in 2006. Since 2010, Ekvall has been the HQDA Electronic Warfare Division chief. The EW division based at the Pentagon is responsible for Army EW strategy, policy, programs and operational concepts.
