KABUL, Afghanistan — The Operational Coordination Centre Provincial in Uruzgan province in southern Afghanistan, opened its doors, July 9, providing the people of Uruzgan an efficient way to contact local authorities.

Afghan national security forces staff the newly opened OCC-P, while European Union police and members of International Security Assistance Force provide mentorship and training to OCC-P staff.
