Engineers Beat the Dust at Joint Security Station Aqur Quf

A heavy equipment operator from Equipment Platoon, 46th Engineer Combat Battalion (Heavy), 225th Engineer Brigade, uses a modified fuel truck which had been converted into a "rhino snot" and water distributor. The squad of engineers thought outside the box when they figured out how to get the rhino snot into the fuel truck and make the fuel truck spray the mixture onto the ground.

A heavy equipment operator with Equipment Platoon, 46th Engineer Combat Battalion (Heavy), 225th Engineer Brigade, guides the "rhino snot" mixture into the water distributor. The sticky, grey material bonds sand and dust to keep it from flying into the air and disrupting helicopter maneuvers.
